我最近加入德立華中文學校擔任副校長的職務。在過去的12年間，她曾擔任過文化課老師，代課老師，和課堂和全校演講比賽的評審。我在台灣長大。在獲得亥俄州立大學化學工程博士學位後，我移居到得德拉瓦州的紐瓦克市。我目前在國際香精香料公司（前屬杜邦公司）擔任高級工程師。我們一家跟德立華中文學校有悠久的歷史。我的兩個女兒從幼稚園就開始在德立華中文學校學習中文，直到高中畢業。雖然她們現在不在學校學習，可是她們還是會抽空回學校教書和擔任義工，為傳承中華文化盡一己之力。我非常榮幸能加入中文學校的團隊，幫助履行德立華中文學校的使命。我會致力促進中華文化的推廣，為中文學校的學生和家長服務提供更優質以及多元化的華語教育。

Shu-Chien  Liang recently joined the CSD as the assistant principal. She has been  involved in CSD on and off for more than 12 years including serving as a  culture class teacher, a substitute teacher for her daughter’s classes,  and a judge for in-class and school-wide speech contests.

Ms.  Liang grew up in Taiwan and moved to Newark DE after learning her Ph.D.  degree in Chemical Engineering from the Ohio State University in 1995.  She is currently a Staff Engineer at International Flavors and  Fragrances, formerly DuPont. Both of her daughters attended the CSD  since kindergarten and graduated a few years ago. She is proud of her  daughters’ volunteering at the CSD during the Covid pandemic, and  recognizes the critical role of CSD in helping them develop skills and  knowledge of mandarin language, and appreciation for their  Chinese/Taiwanese heritage.

Ms.  Liang is excited to join the dedicated CSD staff to serve the CSD  students and parents. She is committed to continue the CSD mission to  promote learning of Chinese language, culture and heritage, provide  quality and diverse education experience, and develop culturally  competent and confident students.

I have been with CSD for over 13 years. My oldest daughter was graduated from CSD. Currently, my younger son is also attending CSD. This is my 3rd year serving the Treasurer position. 

這是我在中文學校的第四年，很榮幸能擔任學校的教務主任。我們的老師們對學生都很有愛心，對教學充滿熱誠，而我將盡我所能地幫助學校安排活動和課程，幫助老師們做教學準備，讓學生能在多元化的輔助工具下，對中華文化產生興趣，建立說中文的自信。

This  is my 4th year at the Chinese school. It is my honor to serve as the  school's curriculum director. I will help the school implement new  learning activities, improve existing programs, assist our teachers on  teaching plans, and ensure the curriculum is the best fit for our staff  and students. By using diversified teaching tools, our students could  build up their interests in Chinses Culture and feel confident to speak  in Chinese. 

我是瑋蘋，很高興今年度擔任Pre-K/K的中文老師。 我畢業於台灣成功大學公共衛生研究所，2010 年碩士畢業後在公衛促進協會擔任全職⼯作近 9 年，其中以歷史和文化的視角作為切入點，在台灣的社區和原住民族部落進行公共衛生教育的行動。我曾擔任基督教會的兒童主⽇學教師 5 年及青少年團契的輔導 10 年。目前作為我孩⼦的媽媽有4 年又8個月，持續樂於與孩子們親子共學。 在Pre-K/K的中文課程，我希望透過⾳樂、童謠、繞口令、遊戲、美勞手作、故事繪本等等，讓孩子在邊看、邊聽、邊說、邊玩、邊跳、邊畫的過程中，感受到漢字的有趣與體會中華文化之美。透過本課程引發孩⼦對中文的興趣，願開啟孩子學習中⽂的一扇窗。

I am Wei-Ping. I'm delighted to be the Chinese teacher for the Pre-K/K class this year. I  graduated with a master's degree in Public Health from National Cheng  Kung University(NCKU) in Taiwan. After completing my master's degree in  2010, I worked for nearly 9 years at the Association for the Promotion  of Public Health.My focus was on using a historical and cultural  perspective to conduct public health education initiatives in  communities and indigenous tribes.I used to serve as a Sunday school  teacher in a Christian church for 5 years and as a youth fellowship  counselor for 10 years. Currently, I've been a mother, continuing to  enjoy parent-child learning with my children.

In  the Pre-K/K Chinese curriculum, I will use music, nursery rhymes,  tongue twisters, games, arts and storybooks to encourage children to  experience the fun of Chinese characters and appreciate the beauty of  Chinese culture. Through this curriculum, my aim is to spark children's  interest in Chinese and open a window for them to learn the language.

我每週最開心的時刻就是在網上教六歲和九歲大的兩個外孫女中文！真高興將會在德拉瓦中文學校教一年級，讓我能和純真善良的孩子們同樂！

我出生於台灣，畢業於北一女及台灣大學，來美後取得心理輔導碩士，及電腦碩士，任職的大公司包括 道瓊斯， 強生，貝爾實驗室，阿爾克特-朗訊 。我曾在不同的中文學校任教，也擔任過演講班的老師，在我的一對兒女成長的過程中，每週的中文學校課都是第一優先的活動，難得缺課。當年女兒和兒子在慈濟中文學校講台上表演相聲，贏得滿場掌聲的那一幕，至今歷歷如繪！

一年級的學生，像一張雪白的紙，我會竭盡所能讓他們在歡笑中學習中文，讓雪白的紙，色彩繽紛！

The happiest moments of my week are when I teach my six-year-old and nine-year-old granddaughters Chinese online! I am thrilled to be teaching first grade at the Delaware Chinese School, which allows me to enjoy the company of innocent and kind-hearted children.  I was born in Taiwan and graduated from Taipei First Girls High

School and National Taiwan University. After coming to the United States, I obtained master degrees in Guidance & Counseling and

Computer Science. I have worked for major companies including Dow Jones, Johnson & Johnson, Bell-Labs and Alcatel-Lucent.  I have taught at different Chinese schools and also served as a teacher for speech classes. During the upbringing of my two children, attending the weekly Chinese school classes was always our top priority activity, rarely missing a class. The scene where my daughter and son performed a comedic dialogue on the stage of the Tzu Chi Chinese School and received a round of applause is vividly etched in my memory to this day!

First-grade students are like blank sheets of paper, and I will do my best to help them learn Chinese with joy, painting vibrant

colors on that blank paper!

我是今年一年級的老師，我叫 於琨老師 。 我愛孩子們，並且對教學充滿熱情。 我在戈登學院完成了幼兒教育碩士學位。我本科畢業於北京師範大學，主修心理學。 五年的幼兒教育工作經驗進一步明確了我的教學目標：在和孩子們一起學習漢字和中華文化的同時，將創造力、開放性、耐心和同情心帶入課堂。 在校外，我喜歡與上帝、家人和朋友共度美好時光。我相信上帝的愛是給每個人最好的禮物。 

 I love children and have a passion for teaching. I completed my master's in early childhood education at Gordon College. I got my bachelor's degree from Beijing Normal University, majoring in psychology. Five years of working experience in early childhood education have further defined my teaching goal: to bring creativity, open-mindedness, patience, and empathy for others into the classroom while learning Chinese characters and Chinese culture together. Outside school, I love spending quality time with God, family, and friends. I believe that God's love is the best gift to everyone.

我是李露老師。我是一個隨和的人，但是我有我的原則。我有超過十年教說英語的孩子學習中文的經驗。提前感謝家長們和學校在新學年對我的支持，願新的學年裡我們共同努力，讓孩子們開口說中文!

My name is Lucy Li .    I am an easy-going person, but I have my principles. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching English speaking kids to learn Chinese. I want to thank parents and CSD in advance in supporting me. I wish this school year we can work together to have students start speaking Chinese! 

我是妤莉老師,是德立華中文學校4、5年級老師,來美國之前在台灣的小學擔任代 課老師,在德立華中文學校有2年的教學經驗。我有耐心也非常喜歡和孩子們互動 ,對於教學的內容,希望以有趣和多元的方式,並用鼓勵與讚美的語言,讓孩子們 在安全開心的環境中學習,並能達到聽、說中文的目標。督促自己繼續的學習與成長,期許能在孩子的心中種下學習中文與文化的種子,讓孩子們的未來更有競爭力。

I am Teacher Yuli, ,I am the 4th and 5th grade teacher at Delaware Chinese School. Before I came to the United States, I worked as a substitute teacher in an elementary school in Taiwan. I have 2 years of teaching experience in Delaware Chinese School. I am patient and love to interact with children. For the content of the teaching, I hope to use interesting and diverse ways, and use words of encouragement and praise, so that children can learn in a safe and happy environment, and can achieve listening and speaking Chinese The goal. Urge myself to continue learning and growing, and hope to plant the seeds of learning Chinese and culture in the hearts of children, so that children's future will be more competitive.

Hi 大家好，我是Grace老師。我曾在中國的某所高校擔任教職多年，擁有對外漢語教學證書以及豐富的漢語教學經驗。過去兩年中，我在德拉瓦中文學校教授成人中文課程。今年，我將有幸在該校教授七年級的中文課程。作為一名教育者，我的教學理念是通過啟發學生的興趣和動手實踐，幫助他們融入中國語言和文化的世界中。我希望能夠與學生們共同探索、學習和成長，讓中文課堂成為他們探索多元文化的寶貴經驗。

Hello everyone, I am Mrs. Grace Zhang. I had been a college teacher in China for many years and possess a certificate in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, along with extensive experience in Chinese language instruction. Over the past two years, I have been teaching Adult Chinese at the Chinese School of Delaware. This year, I am excited to have the opportunity to teach seventh-grade Chinese at the same school. As an educator, my teaching philosophy revolves around inspiring students' interests and engaging them in hands-on activities, helping them immerse themselves in the world of Chinese language and culture. I aspire to collaborate with my students in exploring, learning, and growing, making the Chinese classroom a valuable experience for them to discover diverse cultures.
